Graphic Designing

There is lot of program which helps to make graphic design among them world largest graphic design program is Adobe Photoshop. The improvement of new technology makes easy to new generation to make good graphic to the jpeg, bmp, gif files.
Adobe Photoshop is one of the best popular graphic (images) designing packages developed by adobe corporation, USA. It is an improved version of 7.0 / cs respectively. Sometimes it is also used for desktop designing works. It is the industry standard image editing program. It sis used by graphics professionals throughout the world for editing / retouching scanned images and creating new bitmap graphics.
There are two fundamental types of computer graphics, ‘vector’ based graphics and ‘bitmap’ graphics. Vector graphics programs (such as CorelDraw, freehand and adobe illustrator) store graphics as objects whereas bitmap graphics programs (such as Adobe Photoshop and Corel photo paint) store graphics as ‘pixels’ (dots). In a bitmap programs a line is stored as a collection of pixels that visually from a line. Vector graphics are usually edited by clicking on objects and dragging them with the mouse around the screen, bitmap graphics are edited using an ‘eraser’ tool that deletes pixels.
With the help of this program, you can create, modify your own design with different color management different effects features, which can ensure that you get accurate color reproduction from scanning through printing and when sharing graphics across different platforms and systems.
Photoshop format (PSD) is the default file format for newly created images and the only format supporting all available image modes (bitmap, Grayscale, Duotone, indexed color, RGB,CMYK, LAB and Multichannel ), guides, alpha channels, spot channels and layers (including, adjustment layers, type layers, and layer effects).

 * Resizing clips- The starting and ending points of a video clip can be adjusted by just dragging the left or right edge. Resizing clips lets you change the duration without losing any of the action in the clip. Of course, if you make a video clip shorter by dragging the edge, the action will be speeded up. If you make it longer, the action will slow down ("slow motion"). Changing the length of audio clips this way will change the pitch of the voices (higher or lower).

    * Splitting Timeline-  When you choose to split the timeline, you can cut any or all of the clips that are under the Seek Slider. If you click the split button or choose Split Timeline from the Tools menu, the Which tracks would you like to split? Window appears. You can split any selection of tracks. If you select all the tracks, the result is much like cutting a layer cake, with cuts appearing in every layer.

Video Dimension, Aspect Ratio and DVD

This article discusses how you can use Video Edit Magic to handle different video clips when making a DVD.  It also discusses video resizing techniques that you can use to fix problems that arise due to mixing videos with varying video dimensions and aspect ratios in the same timeline.
Understanding Video Dimensions
One of the most important visual characteristic of any video is its width and height.  The width and height of videos are usually measured in pixels and are collectively termed as the "dimensions" of the video.  Thus, if a video is 320 pixels wide and 240 pixels in height, it is said to have dimensions of 320 x 240 pixels.

The dimensions selected for a particular video will often depend on the way it is distributed.  Videos that are meant to play over the internet usually have lower dimension like 320 x 240 pixels.  On the other hand, videos that are meant to play on the desktop have higher dimension like 640 x 480 pixels.  High Definition Television (HDTV) videos have an even higher dimensions as high as 1920x 1080 pixels.
Understanding Aspect Ratio
The aspect ratio of a video is the ratio of the video's width to the video's height.  A video with dimensions of 320 x 240 pixels has an aspect ratio of 4:3.  That is, the width is 1.33 times as large as the height.  Video that is 640 x 480 also has an aspect ratio of 4:3.  Notice that two video clips can have totally different sizes but the same aspect ratio.

Standard aspect ratios have been adopted for both computer monitors and TV sets. The following table summarizes the important ones:
Type of Video                                                            Aspect Ratio

Normal Television and PC Monitors                               4:3
High-Definition Television and Wide-Screen Monitors      16:9
Cinemascope Movies                                                   2.21:1

Television Picture Standards
There are three TV picture standards, which are used in different countries.  The standards define a video's dimensions and its frame rate (the number of times the picture updates every second).
This table lists the standards:

Picture Standard          Followed By

NTSC                              America and Japan
PAL                                Most of Europe and Asia
SECAM                          France
DVD Video
DVD videos are now the dominant medium for movies and TV shows.  To create a DVD that will play in any DVD player, it must contain video encoded using the MPEG 2 compression system, with specific dimensions as dictated by the relevant picture standard.  For example, a DVD playable in America contains MPEG 2 video with dimensions specified by the NTSC Picture Standard.

The dimensions as defined by the Picture Standards for DVD videos are as follows:
Picture Standard              DVD Video Dimension

NTSC                                 720 x 480 pixels
PAL                                   720 x 576 pixels
DVD Video and Display Aspect Ratio
Both NTSC and PAL videos have aspect ratios that do not match aspect ratio for Television, HDTV or Cinemascope movies.  Then how can you play back a DVD and see the video in the correct aspect ratio?  Each DVD video has a Display Aspect Ratio, which instructs the player (DVD player or software program) what aspect ratio to use when playing back the video.

If DVD video is intended to be played on standard television, it has a Display Aspect Ratio of 4:3.  Even though the dimensions of the DVD video are either 720 x 480 pixels or 720 x 576 pixels, it is displayed with an aspect ratio of 4:3.  This lets DVDs be played with the correct aspect ratio, even though all their video is stored with standard dimensions.
Resizing Videos
In Video Edit Magic, when you create a video meant for DVD video then you must select either 720 x 480 pixels (NTSC) or 720 x 576 pixels (PAL) as the movie's dimensions.  The video clips and images that you add to the Timeline will not necessarily be in the same dimensions or aspect ratio as the final movie.  To fit these video clips into the dimensions specified for the final movie, Video Edit Magic resizes the video.

There are many things to consider when you resize a video. To demonstrate, we will use a still picture instead of a video.  This will help you understand the changes that occur in shapes when videos are resized.
Before Resizing         After Resizing
160 x 120 pixels (4:3)
320 x 240 pixels (4:3)
160 x 120 pixels (4:3)
160 x 90 pixels (16:9)
160 x 120 pixels (4:3)
221 x 100 pixels (2.21:1)
160 x 90 pixels (16:9)
160 x 120 pixels (4:3)
As illustrated in example 1, above, resizing the video to a larger dimension caused some pixilation.  However, the pumpkin's shape is still a circle because the aspect ratio did not change (4:3 in both cases).  In all other examples, the resizing involves changing the aspect ratio.  Because of this, the circles have turned elliptical or oblong.

Changing the aspect ratio of a video can make people look distorted, either too narrow or too wide.  This is not acceptable (unless you do it on purpose for a humorous effect).
Fixing Resize Problems
In Video Edit Magic, you can use the video clip's Stretch Mode property to change the way a video resizes.  Let us try fixing the problems that we demonstrated using the images above.  You can fix videos in exactly the same way.

First, example number 3: After adding the video clip to the Video 1 track of the Timeline, right-click the clip and select Stretch Mode.
Video Edit Magic - Video Dimension Strech Mode
The following table shows the effect different stretch modes have on the way Video Edit Magic resizes the video (and images).  The original image is the one illustrated in example 3.
Stretch Mode     After Resizing     Comments
Stretch         You have seen this before.  The circle turns elliptical.  In movies, people will appear really fat.
Keep Original Dimension         Circles remain circular.  The original dimension of the video is maintained and the video is centered horizontally and vertically.  In our example, the width of the video is smaller than the width of the final movie.  A black background appears on either ends of the video, filling the space that the original does not cover.  The height of the original video is slightly larger than the project's height.  Therefore, some of the top and bottom are cropped.

Preserve Aspect Ratio         Circles remain circular.  The original video is resized so that either the width or the height matches the project's dimensions exactly.  In this case, the height fits and the video centers horizontally within the project's width.  This stretch mode always fits the entire original image into the final movie with no cropping, and preserves the original aspect ratio.
Stretch while preserving Aspect Ratio         This stretch mode is an extension of "Preserve Aspect Ratio".  The original video is resized so that no "letter boxing" (black areas) is visible.  If the aspect ratio of the video doesn't match that of the final movie, this will result in cropping—that is, trimming off some of the edge of the image, either at the top and bottom or at the sides.  Circles remain circles, though.

Now, let us consider example 4.  This is the reverse case of example 3.  In example 3, the picture was resized to make it wider.  In example 4, it's resized to become narrower.  See what happens when we apply the different stretch modes:
Stretch Mode     After Resizing
Stretch
Keep Original Dimension
Preserve Aspect Ratio
Stretch while preserving Aspect Ratio

The type of stretch mode to use depends entirely on your movie project.  The "Preserve Aspect Ratio" is by far the most commonly used stretch mode.
Resizing between DVD PAL and DVD NTSC
As discussed before, a PAL DVD  has dimensions of 720 x 576 pixels while a NTSC DVD has dimensions of 720 x 480 pixels.  So what happens when you resize between them?  The video will become either narrower or wider.  To avoid this, it is important to apply a stretch mode when using videos of one picture standard in a project meant for the other picture standard.
Making DVD Videos
A standard DVD disk, both PAL and NTSC can hold up to 4.7 GB of data.  For video, a DVD disk can hold up to 120 minutes of standard DVD video (MPEG 2 encoded).  The process of making a DVD with Video Edit Magic involves two phases.
Phase I
In this phase, you will use Video Edit Magic to create MPEG 2 files in either NTSC or PAL picture standard.

   1. Launch Video Edit Magic, point to the File menu and click New Project .
   2. If you want to make a DVD NTSC then select 720 x 480 pixels as your project's video dimension.  In case of DVD PAL, select 720 x 576 pixels.
   3. Add videos, images and audio to the Timeline.  If necessary, apply stretch mode to one or all the videos and images.
   4. Edit your project to its final composition.
      a. Keep the Timeline below 120 minutes if you plan to write your DVD to a standard 4.7 GB disk.  In our experience, 110 minutes of MPEG 2 video can be safely written on to a DVD disk.  You can adjust your Timeline accordingly for higher capacity disks.
      b. 110 minutes is 1 hour, 50 minutes.  The right-most clip in the Timeline should not cross the "01:50:00.000" marking on the timeline scale.
   5. When you have finished editing, open the File menu and click Make Movie.
   6. From Output Format , select MPEG Formats and click Next.
   7. In MPEG Output Format, select MPEG 2 DVD (NTSC) or MPEG 2 DVD (PAL).  Select an Aspect Ratio .  The movie aspect ratio should generally match the aspect ratio of most of the video clips used to create the movie.  (For instance, if your video clips are mostly filmed in 4:3 aspect ratio, use 4:3 for your movie.)
   8. Click Next to start making the movie.

Phase II
Video Edit Magic can produce standard MPEG 2 videos matching either the NTSC or PAL DVD standard.  Once you have created your MPEG 2 video files, you must use a DVD burning tool to create the DVD disk.

You can use any DVD burning program.  There are two important things to remember if you want the DVD to play on a standard player:

   1. You must create a Video DVD, and not a Data DVD.
   2. You must set the region code of the Video DVD same as on the player you will use to play the DVD.  For example, if you want to play the DVD on a DVD player sold in America, then make sure that you select the region code of "United States" (1).  It is possible to assign more than one region code.  Assigning a code of "1/2/3/4/5/6/8" would make the disk playable on any player.

Please refer to your DVD burning software's user guide for more details on how to create a Video DVD.

Editing Techniques to Remove Unnecessary Footage
A good video flows from one event to another.  Including scenes which are confusing, boring, or just unnecessary distracts your audience.  To hold their interest, you need to remove shots that don't help to advance the action, make your point, or show something worth seeing.

Video Edit Magic provides you two easy ways to remove unnecessary footage: cutting and cropping.
Here are three common types of unnecessary footage in a video

    * Moments of confusion- When you start shooting your subjects (i.e. your family members) may be slightly confused about whether the camera is on, should they start talking, etc.  Film of someone hesitating is unnecessary footage.  It does not say anything about the video's story.

    * Drawn-out action- A video should engage the viewer, with a sequence of events keeping his/her interest.  Keeping the viewer’s attention is difficult when an event takes a long time.  While editing, you can remove footage of long, drawn-out actions.

    * Filming problems - If some of the footage is shaky, uses the wrong camera angle, or doesn't properly frame the action, you will want to cut it out and not include it in the final  Video Edit Magic makes it easy to remove video footage. Video Edit Magic’s Timeline consists of tracks like video, audio, visual effects and transitions, which can be used for editing. The Timeline is where video and audio clips are placed for editing.
The following controls can be used for editing.
      Editing Tools
    * Selection sliders: To edit parts of tracks, it is necessary to select them. To cut or crop, use the Selection Sliders to choose the range you need to remove. The sliders Selection Sliders (with the red handles) are highlighted and labeled '1' and '2' in the above illustration. If you want to Cut, Copy or Crop a particular section, drag the Selection Sliders' handles to enclose a particular area of the clip. Any operation (Cut, Copy, Crop) will affect the area marked by the Sliders.

    * Seek Slider: To mark a point on the Timeline to preview or Split, use the Seek Slider.  Drag the Seek Slider (using the blue handle) to the exact location where you want to Split.  The Preview Window always shows the video at the exact point on the Timeline shown by the Seek Slider.  When you Play the Preview, the Seek Slider moves across the Timeline to match the video and audio being played.

Now that you are familiar with the Timeline, you can begin editing.  Edit commands are on the Edit menu, except for Split Timeline and Split Track, which are on the Tools menu.

    * Cut and Delete- Both Cut and Delete remove footage from the video and audio clips. The difference is that Cut puts the removed footage into the Windows Clipboard, so that it can be Pasted to another location on the Timeline.

    * Crop- Cut deletes the selected range in the Timeline. Cropping deletes everything except the selected range. When you Crop, only the portion you have selected using selection sliders is kept. Everything outside is removed. You can select exactly which tracks to crop, from one to all.
Before Crop After Crop Before Crop                                                                                         After Crop

    * Crop Source- Crop Source works like Crop, deleting what is outside the Selection Sliders.  The difference is that Crop Source only affects clips which are touching the Selection Sliders.  Other clips are not changed.  In the diagram below, there are 2 clips on video track 1.  The Selection Sliders are only touching Winter.jpg. After Crop Source, only the unselected portion of the first clip is cut.  The second clip is unaffected.

Connecting a Digital Camera to Your Windows PC

The digital camcorder is one of the most popular home products of all times. Camcorders have made shooting videos simple, quick and fun.  You can make your home videos even more enjoyable by copying them to your PC, editing them, adding titles and removing those unwanted scenes.  Video editing software like Video Edit Magic can help you edit your home movies to make your memories last forever.  You can also convert the edited videos to an appropriate format and create a DVD or upload them to an Internet server and share your memories with family and friends.

However, many users face problems while connecting digital camcorders and cameras to their PCs.  This article aims to guide you through the process of connecting a digital camcorder to your Windows PC.
Checklist for connecting a Camcorder to your PC
To connect your camcorder to your Windows PC, you require:

   1. A FireWire or USB Port on your PC.
   2. Microsoft © DirectX version 9.0c or higher.
   3. Appropriate connecting cables (usually bundled with the camcorder).

FireWire Port and USB 2.0 Connection

A FireWire Port (also known as IEEE 1394) allows users to connect digital video camcorders and other peripheral devices to their PCs, and transfer videos or other data at high speeds.  Most digital camcorders also have a USB 2.0 connection and this USB connection can be used to capture the video as well as the photo snaps taken by the camcorder.  Be sure your PC has a USB 2.0.  While a USB 2.0 device can transfer data using a USB 1.1 connection, the transfer rate will be dramatically lower, and video capture may not be successful.
Most new PCs have a FireWire port or a USB 2.0 connection available.  If your PC does not include these ports, you will need to purchase a FireWire expansion card.  These cards can be bought at any computer store and are inexpensive.
Microsoft © DirectX ©
DirectX is a Windows technology that enables higher performance in graphics and sound.  For older operating systems, you should upgrade Direct X.  This will ensure that the FireWire will function properly with your digital camcorder.  You can download the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft's website.
Connecting Cables
There are are two types of FireWire connectors– 4 pin and 6 pin.

The FireWire port on the PC usually has 6 pins.  Two pins are for providing power to FireWire devices like printers, scanners or external memory.  A digital camcorder’s FireWire port (usually called DV out or i.Link) usually has 4 pins as the camera does not need to power other devices.  This means that in most cases you would need a FireWire connecting cable with 4 pins (for DV out of camcorder) on one end and 6 pins at the other end (for your PC).
Connecting your Camcorder to your PC
Physically connecting your camcorder to your Windows PC using a FireWire port is easy.  Plug the IEEE 1394 connecting cable into the PC and the camcorder.  We recommend making the connection before turning on the camcorder.  When you turn on the camcorder, it should be automatically detected by Windows.
Video Edit Magic - Connecting your digital camera to your Windows PC
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Many camcorder users have faced problem connecting a camcorder to their PC.  One of the most common problems is “nothing happens” after connecting the camcorder to the PC.  The New Hardware Wizard does not run and Windows fails to detect the camcorder.

This can mean one of the two things: Either the DV port on the camcorder (or computer) is not working or the FireWire cable is faulty.  Try a different FireWire cable.  If the camera is still not detected by the PC, try connecting it to a different PC.  If the Camcorder is still not detected, then your camera's DV port is most likely at fault.
Confirming that the FireWire Port on you PC is working fine
You can check the status of the FireWire port with the Device Manager.  To open the Device Manager, right-click on My Computer and then click on Properties.  Select the Hardware tab and click on Device Manager.  If you cannot see the FireWire controller (probably listed under "IEEE1394 Bus host controllers") in the list, then it is not properly installed.  If you see a yellow exclamation mark, then you need to install the drivers, which are usually on a CD that comes with the FireWire card.  (These instructions are for Windows XP.  They will vary slightly for other versions of Windows.)
Importing your Videos from the Digital Camcorder to your PC
You can use Video Edit Magic’s capture tool to import all your video and audio files from a digital camcorder.  The instructions for video and audio capture are here.  After importing, you can edit these files using Video Edit Magic.

Now you are ready to learn about Video Editing.  You can find additional information and articles on Video Editing on our Resources page.

Planning and Shooting your Videos

Every video captured by your camcorder is a story waiting to be told.  It could be the story of your child’s first tentative steps, a typical day in your life, your daughter’s little league game, or that perfect vacation with your family.

All you need is creativity, a structured and organized plan, a little discipline and a capable video editor like Video Edit Magic.  This article aims to explain how you can adapt the basic principles of professional movie making to your home videos.
PRE-PRODUCTION
Outline:  Pre-production involves the steps you should take before shooting a video with your camcorder.  At first glance, this looks unnecessary for impromptu home videos, but it really is one of the most essential things in videography, professional or otherwise.

Serendipity can only get you a great shot every now and then.  Your videography skills will always get exposed to criticism over videos that last longer than a minute or two.  So, you need to have a plan (or at least a rough outline ).
When planning a video shoot, write down a list of shots you will need.
For example, let us consider your daughter's softball game.  You can make a checklist listing the following ‘must have’ shots.

   1. A close shot of your daughter putting on the team cap.
   2. A close up of the team list, with a slow zoom in to her name.
   3. A long shot of the park.
   4. The team practicing and warming up.
   5. Shots of the scoreboard before, during and after the game.
   6. A few shots of the crowd.
   7. A close up of the players smiling after the game.
   8. A long shot of the sun setting.

Once you have a checklist or an outline, you at least know what sort of footage is important.  An outline also helps if you have some existing footage.  It will guide you in fitting the existing footage around your concept.
Know your equipment:
As basic as it might sound, it is a good idea to explore each and every button and control of your camcorder.  Do read the user manual.  There is nothing as frustrating as missing out on a good shot due to unfamiliarity with the controls.  Know all the buttons inside out.  If you have the option to configure your camcorder to a beep on starting and stopping, then turn it on.  Take a few practice shots for zooming in and zooming out and any other special controls.
PRODUCTION
Always shoot as much content as you possibly can.  You will appreciate this habit when you edit in the post-production stage.  The content could include video footage, snapshots and sounds.  During the production, follow the suggestions below to shoot great, professional looking videos.
SHOOTING TIPS

   1. Use a Tripod:  A steady home video is a rare achievement, even if your camcorder has an image stabilization feature.  You should mount your camcorder on a tripod whenever possible to avoid jerky-looking videos.
   2. Lighting:  Perhaps the most important aspect of video production is the lighting.  A common mistake most amateurs make is to shoot towards the sun.  Whenever possible, try to keep your back towards the sun, while keeping your shadow out of the frame.  The same principle applies while shooting indoors.  If you shoot in a bright light, then your subject might appear dark.  Try to shoot in front of backgrounds with uniform lighting to avoid bright spots or reflection.
   3. Smooth Zoom in and Zoom out:  Abrupt zoom-in and zoom-outs never look good in home videos.  Always zoom-in to and zoom out of subjects slowly.  Start by framing the subject for a second or two, then zoom in very slowly.  After completing the zoom-in, hold the camcorder on the subject for a moment before zooming out or panning away.

Other handy tips:
While shooting an event, take good shots of relevant text documents, invitation cards, banners etc.  These can prove to be useful during post production for making title slides.

Most camcorders these days come loaded with special effects.  If possible avoid the urge to apply special effects while shooting.  This is to prevent being stuck with garish looking videos which cannot be changed.  As much as possible, leave the special effects and other editing operations to the post production stage.
POST PRODUCTION
Post production involves organizing all your videos, editing them using software like Video Edit Magic, and then getting them out of the PC in a format appropriate for distribution.

You shoot for hours, but the actual video must hold the viewers' attention.  The art of editing is to tell the whole story in a shorter, crisp narrative, without losing anything essential.  Editing gives you a chance to play with space and time.  Videos are entertaining because they are larger than life.  They ability to create a world different from and more intriguing than the daily world people live in.  You can transport a person from one location to another.  You can move people to other places, even other worlds, using the green screen effect.
In a video production audio plays a pivotal role in telling a story.  Video Edit Magic provides you with unlimited possibilities of creating audio effects, similar to visual variations that you can bring in by applying video transitions.

The last step is selecting a distribution option for easy sharing with your family and friends.
A video can make people laugh or cry.  A story told by video can grab the audience and refuse to let them go.  Using the techniques described in this article, and Video Edit Magic, you can create your own video masterpiece.  When people see the final product they will refuse to believe that you are not a professional movie-maker!

Display - Monitor and Video card

To enrich the editing experience, you may want to use a higher quality monitor. Important factors when editing video are the sharpness of the image and the size of the monitor. The Video Edit Magic window has three sub-windows, and displays a lot of information. A larger monitor lets more information show at one time, makes the Preview window clearer and more useful, and lets more of the Timeline fit onto the screen. Flat panel monitors have become very popular due to a sharp decrease in their cost. They also consume less energy and take up less space on your desk than the older-style CRT monitors.

The video card creates the signals that control the monitor—it's the way the PC tells the monitor what to display. The video card and monitor together determine the quality of the picture. Video editing generally does not require a video card upgrade, unless your current card can't display at a sufficiently high resolution.
Optimizing Windows
It is recommended that you work with Windows XP or newer for video editing. This gives you stability and good multimedia support. These versions also manage system memory better than older editions of Microsoft Windows.
Updating video drivers
Software applications control the hardware components in your PC by using drivers. Outdated drivers can cause system slowdown and the occasional crash. Keeping your drivers current will maximize your system's speed and help keep it stable.

You can update drivers by using Windows Update. Windows Update keeps drivers up to date for hardware components from major manufacturers. Many computer makers also provide automatic update software for the components of their systems. Finally, you can visit the hardware manufacturer's website for driver updates.
Disable screen savers and power settings
Disable screen savers, and change the power save settings (turning off automatic hard drive shutoff, standby, and hibernation), so that the editing process (especially capture and rendering) is not interrupted.

Its essential for any artist to have the right tools. Once you get your hardware right, you will surprise yourself with the wonderful videos you create using Video Edit Magic.
So, why not enjoy a more satisfying editing experience by upgrading your system?

Storage space

Digital Video can take up a great deal of hard disk space. One hour of uncompressed (DV-AVI) video can take 13 gigabytes (over 13,000 megabytes) of storage space! If you're going to do much video editing, you will definitely want extra room for your video files. Hard disk prices have continued to drop while their capacities continue to increase, so adding another drive is more and more affordable.

Dedicated storage space for your video on a secondary hard drive or an external drive also frees up space on the system drive. Filling the primary drive can interfere with Windows operations, so this is an important factor. You can also compress your video files.
RAM
Video Edit Magic - RAM The rendering process (which is also referred to as the make movie process) is the final step of editing a video, when all the components (including video, audio, effects, transitions etc.) are combined into a single video file. You can speed up the rendering process, and also improve the overall editing experience, by getting more RAM.

Configuring your PC for Digital Video Editing

Every year we see computers with faster processors, bigger hard drives, and larger amounts of RAM at ever-lower prices. These rapid strides in PC technology, in combination with advanced editing software like Video Edit Magic, make it easy for anyone to create professional looking digital video.

Video editing is a resource hungry activity. If you have an older PC, or you want the editing process to be as enjoyable and exciting as the finished product, you should consider updating your PC to optimize it for video editing. Before starting on an upgrade program, consider this basic advice.
Optimizing your PC for editing
Video Edit Magic - Optimize your PC

   1. Let the Professional do it: If you are not confident about upgrading and installing new hardware yourself, call a professional.
   2. Warranty issues: If you bought a PC recently, check with the manufacturer to see whether changing the hardware would affect the warranty.
   3. Useful documentation:Go through the documentation that came along with the PC, like user manuals and installation guides. This might help you to decide which components need to be upgraded.

The first step in digital video editing is getting your video footage into the PC. If you have a tape-based camcorder or an analog video camera, you will need to convert the analog video to a digital form which can be understood by the PC. For this you may need some or all of the following equipment:
Video Capture Cards
Video Edit Magic - Video Capture Card Video capture cards let you record from an analog camcorder, VCR, or DVD player to the computer's hard drive. The capture card digitizes a TV signal and creates a video file for playback and editing on the PC. The quality of the video depends on the video capture card, so you want to get a good quality capture card from a reputed manufacturer. Many video adapters for newer PCs already include TV-in. Also, some video capture equipment is now available as an external device that connects to the computer using USB 2.0, not an internal card. All of them have the same function: to take TV signals and turn them into files.

NOTE: If you have a FireWire connection on both your camcorder and PC then you do not need a video capture card.
FireWire
Video Edit Magic - FireWire port Almost all recently-manufactured camcorders have a FireWire port (also called IEEE 1394 or iLINK). The FireWire port connects your camcorder to the PC. FireWire connections are ideal for video, since the signal stays digital throughout the transfer without any loss of image quality.

sex & sex relation

We’ve done the homework on the most innovative and unusual ways to spice up your love life… And we sure had some fun doing it.
Don’t lie down: does this seem contradictory to the mission? Its not, believe us, because if you’re reading this you’ve obviously ready to graduate to something more adventurous than the missionary position.
Get sensuous: we Nepalese are not very big on sex surveys; while the western obviously do them a lot. And among the survey 61 % men and 59 % women are well on sex. Of course, that doesn’t bode well when you think of what is universally thought of as a great turn on –massage. Aw, just get down to it.
Get your toys-and be discreet about it:

Budgeting

Budgeting
Combat emotional spending!
Don’t let your heart pull your purse strings.
Going overboard with shopping when we are depressed can be a dangerous habit. Feeling low is more often than not an excuse devised by most of us to justify our indulgence in retail therapy. It’s not cancerous or unlawful, but it can suck you into a variety of troublesome monetary situations. Here are seven ways to a more financially savvy you.

Red alert:  Recognize and diffuse the feelings which are nudging you to spend, be it professional stress, fallout from a fight or the blues. Learn to hate the instant gratification achieved by your spendthrift nature.
Chalk it out: plan your monthly expenses. Allot an exact sum for your extravagances. This can deter you from rashly frittering away the big bucks.
Check post: keep a check on small expenditures. You may try to rationalize your spending spree by shopping cheap. Addition for the 50 percent off ‘sale’ myth can tear your wallet apart. Spending extravagantly, but less often is mush healthier for your kitty than spending in small bits and more often.
Priorities: conflicts with your man, solitude, strain, and awful days at work will always be there, but that doesn’t mean you dope on spending. Rather you must keep your priorities in mind, like paying off the loan, paying the credit card and other bills on time.
Get real: snap out of the utopia. Getting tempted to impress your guy, or being the star at your workplace by picking an expensive outfit, can leave a big hole in your pocket. Appreciate the way you are, develop self confidence and you won’t have to dress to impress.
Ask yourself: Give your shopping spree a pause and ask yourself “what do I get by spending so much on shopping?” and “ why am I always craving to buy something?” “Do I   really need this?” only if you can find a reasonable answer to all these. Go ahead and shop.
Snooty you: A candlelight dinner at a five star restaurant followed by a movie at a multiplex would be very romantic. Right? Wrong. You can also add pizzazz and adventure to your love life by slipping wine and watching a movie in the cosy confines of your home. There are no perfect ways to keep yourself from being an emotional wastrel. But, remember, every bit helps.

Dubbing

Dubbing means to record the sound in the studio to make music dialogues in movies and  necessary sound which is not recorded while the video is captured.

video post

video post means to posting the video i.e if the sound which is linked with the video or effects it helps to maintain what ever the editor wants to show in the video for example in video we hear some time loud noise as well as less sound and in case of effects in movies we see flashing with sounds.

layout design

layout design is very important thing in graphic design cause without any layout in the project it doesn't seem so good and attractive. which make unimpressive to the visitors. layout means to maintain the gaps between any letters , graphic, videos and many more.

Type of Editing
1. Linear editing : Clip is copies from one device to another
2. Non-linear Editing : Non-linear Editing needs computer, capture card & editing software.

~ capture card : it is a hardware device used to connect analog video to digital or viceversa.
~ compressor or codec : it is a software used to compress or decompress video-  compressor means to make a video size smaller.

Graphic Design

Graphic Design
This is a program in which we can edit any images , photos .
every photos is not good while we takes from the camera when we develop or print in studio we don't get real and clear photo if we doesn't edit it and if we edit to make good quality of photograph then we should adjust the different things that may be color, light, background, noise, curves, cuttings in the photo to make nice photo then this is called graphic design . we should make logo and many more printing and publishing material through graphic design.
